November 15-17 at Port Allen Arena. They ran over 400 teams and over $30,000 was paid out in awards, prizes and money. North Central Texas College, and West Texas &M University were invited to compete, due to success at the 2019 Stock Horse of Texas World Cham- pionship Show in October. Competition will be held February 5-6 at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.
Wrangler and the AQHA have worked together to promote educational
outreach for the horse industry. Each year they create a 24-person team, Team Wrangler, to promote the Quarter Horse. For 2020-2021, team includes C.R. Bradley (TX), Ricky Ramirez (TX), G.R. Carter, Jr. (OK), Clay Logan (TX), Tommy Brian Bucker (TX), and Chuck Briggs (TX). At the 2019 Lucas Oil AQHA World Championship Show, Wrangler donated $20,000 to the AQHF scholarship fund, to help provide scholarships to children of AQHA Professional Horsemen.
National Reining Horse Association announced 5 sires that had re-
cently reached new million-dollar milestones. Smart Chic Olena became an NRHA Seven Million Dollar Sire. Magnum Chic Dream and Smart Spook reached NRHA Six Million Dollar sire status. Smart Like Juice reached the NRHA Four Million Dollar mark, and Spooks Gotta Whiz became an NRHA Two Million Dollar Sire.
