DAY 1: ARRIVAL TO AMSTERDAM. Arrival at Amsterdam Airport and transfer to the hotel with private car. Check in at the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight. DAY 2: MORNING CANAL CRUISE AND AFTERNOON WALKING TOUR. Start your day admiring Amsterdam from its canals. Enjoy a 1 hour itinerary on board of comfortable boat with Multilanguage commentary. After the cruise enjoy a short free time but then at 13.30 be ready to explore this fascinating city by foot. During the itinerary you will visit the Dam Square, the notorious Red Light District and the famous beguinage Begijnhof. Rest of the afternoon and evening at leisure. Overnight. DAY 3: DAY TRIP TO VOLENDAM, EDAM AND ZAANSE SCHANS AND DINNER. Escape the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam on a half- day guided tour of the Dutch countryside, starting with a 20-minute drive to the windmill village of Zaanse Schans. Watch live demonstra- tions of craftsmen at work, including a clog maker crafting the famous wooden shoes of the Netherlands. From there continue on to Edam, also commonly referred to as the pearl of the Zuiderzee. Edam’s an- cient streets and quite canals are lined by beautiful 17th century build- ings, including the leaning Carillon tower, the Great Church, and town
hall.After a stroll around this history-rich town, you’ll have the opportu- nity to see how Edam’s world-famous cheese is made and, of course, to taste it in a closeby cheesefarm. Finally, you will stop in the beauti- ful seaside village of Volendam. This typical fishing village with its bustling harborhas been a major tourist attraction as early as 1875. Your guide will take you on a short walk through the oldest parts of the city, exploring a labyrinth of twists and turns to sites such as St. Vin- cent’s Church, the wooden Stolphoevekerk and the Visafslag (Fish Auction). Return to Amsterdam and rest of the afternoon at
leisure.In the evening you will get a great Holland dinner at restaurant “LT Cornelis”, in the very city centre. Overnight. DAY 4: DAY TRIP TO DELFT, THE HAGUE WITH STOP IN MADURODAM. Morning at leisure. The afternoon is dedicated to visit the south area from Amsterdam, with a perfect combination to visit all top highlights in one day. Your journey will commence with a trip to the historic district of Delft, home of the city’s symbolic Delftware factories. After Delft the tour will proceed to The Hague, home of a multitude of internationally renowned landmarks. During the visit you will pass along to the Binnenhof. the world’s oldest active House of Parliament. Following that, you will have a break to take pictures in front of the Paleis Noordeinde, the active palace of King Willem - Alexander. The trip also includes a visit to the distinguished Peace Palace, which fea- tures the International Court of Justice. Concluding the Delft, the tour will stop in Madurodam, the Netherlands smallest and most famous theme park. Return to Amsterdam and overnight. DAY 5:DEPARTURE TRANSFER. Free time for eventual shopping or last self visit before being transferred from the hotel to the airport.
