HANDLES FOR FILES, GRAVERS & BROACHES

Files are just as easy to mount. Insert the file into a vice (V5345) and use vice grips (FDASJ35) so the leather grips do not mark the file; then heat the ‘tang’ or the ‘grip’ end with a torch (M4184) for between one and two minutes. Push on the handle making sure the top and bottom end of the file touches the metal support ring collet. Leave to cool for thirty minutes, the file is ready to use.
