Maximum hardness of material to be cut: Brinell 370/ Rockwell C42, 85 Tons/Sq. 133 Kg/square mm.

The jaws/blades of these Bolt Cutters are made of heavily alloyed steel that are entirely drop forged giving a hardened blade able to withstand heavy use. The ground cutting edge is subjected to a second hardening process for maximum hardness of the cutting edge. The handles are full forged in a ribbed selection alloy steel of a very high elastic limit.
