The art and science of pitching and persuading
Wednesday, 13th November 10.30 – 12.30. Free for FOCUS members, £25 for non-members We all need to persuade people. Whether it’s a business pitch or a job interview, we eventually get to a point where we have to fall back on the spoken word and our personality to achieve what we want. Rupert Wesson, Debrett’s Academy director, returns to FOCUS following excellent feedback from last year’s seminar to explain how we can all be better at pitching and persuading. Using the latest research in behaviour and neuroscience, along with some simple oratorical techniques, he will show you how to state your case persuasively.
