9. Think about 2020 Goals

Personal challenges are a great way to give back to the community, as most of them can be tied to a charity. Running, biking and swimming – either in separate races or all to- gether in a triathlon- are popular ways to support your favourite cause while challeng- ing yourself, improving your health and stay- ing fit. What about climbing a mountain or doing

something really bold? As you close out your year and think about your goals for the year ahead, this is the perfect time to make a bold commitment and tie it to your favourite cause.

10. Join a volunteer organisation

Joining a volunteer organisation is a lovely way to give back all year round. Whether you are native to London, an expat, here for uni- versity or extended work, there are volunteer organisations that are suited to your interest areas. Te benefit goes beyond giving back. You may develop new skills, find a new pas- sion and be inspired by colleagues working together for positive change.
