Oklahoma Pinto Horse Association hosted the No Bling
Cowboy Showdown event September 21-22, at Riverbend Ranch in Inola. Robbie Herman won the Amateur Walk-Trot English Pleasure Challenge. Jamie Sissek won the Amateur Walk-Trot Western Pleasure Challenge, and Deborah Lee Gay won the All-Breed Ranch Pleasure Challenge.

Pioneer Cutting Horse Association’s inaugural Tall Grass
Futurity was a huge success, as were the accompanying World Cutting Horse Association weekend classes, all September 26- 28 at Clarence Brantley Arena, Pawhuska, OK. Jamboree won both the Open and Non-Pro Futurity at the show, owned by Benny and Susan Scarberry, ridden in the Non-Pro by Benny Scarberry, and shown by Tommy Marvin in the Open. David Carr garnered the highest combined score for 2 days in the Cow- boy Ranch Class, therefore winning a Tom Balding bit all rigged up by Osage Outfitters.
Texas A& University Stock Horse Team members came
together for a win at the September 28 Stock Horse of Texas event in Bryan. Individual earnings collegiate all-around cham- pionships were Jarrett Haydon (novice), Courtlyn Ranly (ltd-np),
