A travel agent looked up from his desk and saw an older couple at the window, peering inside at the posters showing the glamorous holidays destinations around the world. Having reached his sales targets for the week and feeling a sudden wave of generosity, the agent decided to call the couple into the shop and said to them, “I know that on your pensions you could never afford to go on a luxury holiday, so I have decided to send you away at my expense - and I won’t take no for an answer!” The couple were overjoyed and within a week were on their way to an exotic, five-star resort. About a month later, the lady returned to the shop. “How did you enjoy your holiday?” the agent asked eagerly. “Oh! The flight was exciting - I have never flown before - the room was lovely and the food and entertainment outstanding,” she said. “I have come to thank you for your kindness. But, one thing is still puzzling me. Who was that old guy I had to share the room with?”
