We were delighted to welcome the following to our meetings.


Tues 10th: Dennis Hopper, a member of the Rotary Club of St Andrews.


Tues 17th: Richard Wynne, a regular visitor to the Club who is seen here with President John Fernie, a member and current President of the Rotary Club of Stourbridge.


At some point during each meeting members are asked if they would like to donate a ‘Happy Pound’ for something that has pleased them, made them happy or enjoy a laugh in the previous week. Here are some of September’s best:


* During her holiday Wilda had achieved a 140 mile cycle along the banks of the River Loire. Well done Wilda.


* Gordon MacKenzie was delighted to announce the birth of a new granddaughter. Congratulation to the whole family.


* John Fernie had enjoyed his time viewing the Solheim Cup and congratulated team Europe on their win.


* Ian Black had spent an enjoyable 4 night stay in Glasgow which he had never done before.
