Energy Zone Team Gears up to Showcase Expertise at Major International Event
The scale of current and planned energy projects on the East Coast of England will be highlighted at a major international exhibition and conference this autumn.
Key companies and sector experts will also be showcasing what the region has to offer at Offshore Energy – a two-day event on October 8-9 in Amsterdam which attracts 12,000 visitors, 550 stand holders and 1,000 delegates.
The East of England Energy Zone is hosting a shared stand with 10 other exhibitors, who share a prominent space, presentation area, marketing support, expert export advice, introductions to potential overseas clients and markets. There is one standholder opportunity still available.
Simon Gray, from the East of England Energy Group, which is a key presenter at the stand said: “The Offshore Energy event provides a brilliant opportunity for our region’s talented companies to show what they have to offer major developers and key clients in the sector from across Europe and beyond.
“Taking part has the potential to get noticed and make links with some of the world’s most influential players in the growing offshore energy world – which is set to make major strides in, and off the coasts of, Norfolk and Suffolk in the coming years.
“We will be highlighting the huge potential across oil and gas, offshore wind, nuclear sectors as well as emerging technologies and concepts as we see energy production transition from fossil fuels to zero carbon,” he added.
The Energy Zone shared standholders heading to Amsterdam are:
• EnerMech – critical asset support from pre-commissioning through operations to late life and decommissioning.
• Stowen – inspection and construction including crane testing, welding, rope access, scaffold, coatings and corrosion.
• Peel Ports – Great Yarmouth’s Outer Harbour is a growing supply base for windfarms including East Anglia ONE.
• Nesspoint – rebranded from Vissim Renewables – vessel and people tracking and management, maritime surveillance, and radio communications.
• En-Gen Diesel Products – procurement and supply of equipment and spares to the oil&gas, power generation, marine and industrial markets.
• 3sun Group – supplying and training technicians, inspection services and providing controls, instrumentation and testing.
• EEEGR – membership organisation helping companies grow their businesses through support, introductions, networking, events, and sector intelligence.
• OrbisEnergy – Office space and support hub, helping companies develop wind, wave and tidal technologies in the Southern North Sea.
• Hethel International – a consultancy at the Hethel Innovation incubation hub, taking its services to an international market for the first time.
