Hair Raising Halloween at Hyde Park 23 and 24 October, 11am-3pm Drop in to take part in free creepy crawly Halloween themed activities including trail, create a potion, listen to a spooky story or dare to investigate the ‘feely boxes’. Some activities cost extra, ie build a bat box. Dressing up is encouraged so why not get into the spirit and come dressed as a ghoulish ghost or wicked witch?

Children’s events and activities can be noisy and busy – particularly during the school holidays. However, there are some options for children who need a slightly quieter or less hectic environment. Book ahead as we anticipate these events being very popular.

Spooky Zoo Chessington Garden Centre 20 and 27 Oct, 9:30am Get up close and personal with the reptiles. Two sessions designed to cater for those with disabilities or special educational needs. Child £4.50. One adult included with ticket.


Quiet Sessions in the Magic Garden Hampton Court Palace 20 October, 9-10:30am Aimed at those living with or caring for someone with Autism, or those who have any other sensory needs, and their families and carers. The session lasts 90 minutes and during this time fewer people than normal will be admitted. Adult £8, child £6. Carers and infants under 3 free.
