opportunity to visit Beccles Twin town of Petit-Couronne and share 5 days of multi sports and other activities with French children of a similar age.


This opportunity is available for all children who live or are otherwise associated with the town and it is not confined to one or any


sport in particular! A great opportunity to experience multi-cultural life, learn about French culture and develop language skills in an authentic environment. A passport will be required for the visit, but in order to keep the cost affordable for those who do not currently have a passport, the association has been seeking grant support in order to keep the cost of the whole trip down to £50 per person (including parents and responsible adults).

The group will leave Beccles about 8am on Monday 21st October and return about 8pm on Friday 25th October. There will be a briefing meeting for all those going on the trip on September 12th. Accommodation (provided by Les Amis du Jumelages in Petit-Couronne) will either be with host families or in 2-3 bedded rooms in the CRJS (the regional centre for youth sport and recreation) located within the Town, where many of the activities will take place.
