The associate degree nursing programs offered at the Richmond campus is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). The nursing education programs at Hampton and Virginia Beach are candidates for accreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing. The Virginia Board of Nursing views Hampton, Richmond and Virginia Beach campuses as stand-alone programs. The Richmond associate degree nursing program has approval from the Virginia Board of Nursing. The Hampton and VA Beach associate degree nursing program have initial approval from the Virginia Board of Nursing.
