Catering for you with a full breakfast and lunch menu, their newly developed outdoor terrace seating areas are the perfect spot to enjoy the view of Gloucester and distant Cotswolds.
Peter Dowle boasts a rich history of garden design, having operated from his nursery located not far from this exciting new venture for many years. Their experienced team continue to design from their base at the nursery located on Howle Hill, just outside Ross-On-Wye. Design clients now have the addition of this wonderful new destination ‘Leaf Creative’ to visit and hand pick plants for their bespoke garden design.

Leaf Creative was founded by Peter Dowle, multi-award- winning Gold Medal, garden designer, they are well into their journey of creating a centre where plants, design and people come together in a relaxed and informal setting. A source of inspiration for people with plants by design. Quite simply a journey of discovery!
Since their official opening on 20th March this year, spring has certainly sprung with a successful few months of trading and an ever-growing supportive local community combined with an existing base of loyal design customers.
With a wide-ranging plant selection that includes bulbs, perennials, shrubs and trees and space on the six-acre site for ‘garden vignettes’ they show ways of combining plants to produce beautiful displays. Helping you create the desired look for your garden, they stock a variety of pots to display your plants as well as compost, tools and a handpicked selection of beautiful indoor plants to bring the garden into your home! Trees and plants can also be hired to make any occasion extra special.
Thoughtfully laid out, inspirational in its offering, Leaf Creative is a real place to go and find fabulous unusual plant specimens that can inject structure, colour, form and texture into your garden. All of the plants are handpicked by Peter himself and their specialist plant buyers, many of which you probably won’t find at your conventional garden centre.
Proof of the success of this new venture was demonstrated at RHS Malvern Spring Festival as the Leaf Creative Garden - ‘A Garden of Quiet Contemplation’, won an RHS Gold Medal, as well as ‘Best In Show’!
