London Art Week is a major showcase of London's leading galleries, specialising in the very best of pre- contemporary paintings, drawings, sculpture and decorative art available on the market. Twice a year, London Art Week attracts numerous private collectors from around the world, curators from national and international museums, as well as welcoming those who are just curious to learn more.
LAW Summer 2019 series of exhibitions and art events takes place at galleries around St James’s and Mayfair, from 28 June to 5 July.With 50 exhibitors, this is the biggest London Art Week so far with galleries and auction houses staging exhibitions spanning 5,000 years of art. Meeting Point: Sam Fogg, 15D Clifford St, Mayfair, London, W1S 4JZ For this bespoke tour, you will be accompanied by a member of the London Art Week team, who will open the doors to some of London’s leading galleries in pre-contemporary art. First, you’ll go back in time to discover English Medieval art, moving on to great European Old Masters and furniture and finally ending with an array of abstract, modern pieces while enjoying some drinks and conversations with fellow enthusiasts. Spaces are limited and will be offered on a first come, first serve basis.
End point: St Katherine’s Docks, St Katharine's Way, London E1W 1LA Come and explore the Secrets of the City of London with Elisabetta and Savio of Unexpected London. This walking tour will dive deep into London’s past, hidden alleys, abandoned churches, lost rivers, Roman ruins, old coffee houses (London’s original sites for Stock Exchange and trade) all the way to beautiful viewpoints, markets, and film settings. Energy, fun and music will make this experience unique and authentic. Thanks to a dynamic pace Savio and Elisabetta will be turning sightseeing into cultural wellbeing that benefits mind, body and soul.
