Yale dealers boost rental fleets with highest capacity truck to date

Y ale® dealers Helmut Reiter

and Ziegler Gabelstapler have recently expanded their rental fleet to include

the highest capacity Yale truck to date. Helmut Reiter, operating in Essen, and Ziegler Gabelstapler, in Augsburg, are amongst the first dealers to take delivery of the Yale GDP160EC12. Building upon the well-

established 13-16 tonne Yale EC Series, the GDP160EC12 is capable of lifting 16 tonnes at a 1200mm load centre, allowing cumbersome and odd-sized loads to be carried more effectively. Designed with intensive work cycles, multi-load handling and use with heavy attachments in mind, the EC Series is particularly suited to timber, steel, brick and block, and pre-stressed concrete applications. Operator visibility is important for

safe and effective operation. The GDP160EC12 benefits from the latest operator visibility updates, including a large curved front window and wide rear window to help optimise operator ergonomics. While the sturdy mast structure, heavy- duty side-shift, and fork-positioning functionality deliver maximum control and stability when lifting and

moving bulky materials. “Dusty, dirty environments

are synonymous with the steel, construction, and wood industries. From its superior cooling properties to its excellent manoeuvrability, every element of the GDP160EC12 has been carefully considered to ensure the truck delivers maximum dependability even in the most challenging of operations,” said Oliver Hoffmann, Big Truck Territory Manager at Yale. The expansion of both dealers’

short-term rental options gives local customers even greater choice, taking the Ziegler Gabelstapler rental fleet to over 300 units and the

fleet at Helmut Reiter to over 1500 units. Yale Rental allows companies to take advantage of a responsive, customer-focussed service from experienced dealers whilst having access to the latest products as and when they need them, even if it’s just for a day. “Yale dealers recognise that

leasing or buying equipment is not always a practical option for operations and sudden peaks in workload, seasonal increases in demand, unforeseen technical issues, or highly specific requests often leave customers requiring short-term rental solutions. The Yale dealer network consistently provides

Gabelstapler is very pleased with the addition of the GDP160EC12 to their rental fleet: “We are delighted to take delivery of the largest capacity truck in the Yale range. With its excellent ergonomics, superb operator visibility, and versatile attachment options, we are certain that our customers will be very happy to see this truck being offered as part of our rental fleet.” Mr. Robert Reiter from Helmut

Reiter, shared Mr Ziegler’s delight in the delivery of the new truck, but also stressed the value in working with Yale: “From start to finish we have had very open communications with Yale representatives about the GDP160EC12, from the benefits of the truck through to the logistics of its delivery, it has been a pleasure to work alongside them. We are proud to be part of the large and successful Yale dealer network and look forward to helping our customers continue to find the right truck for their application.” More information visit: www.yale. com to find your local Yale dealer.
