A WAVE of renowned dance acts are joining an eclectic musical line-up on the beach for First Light Festival, the free, non-stop, 24-hour multi arts festival taking place on June 22nd and 23rd in Lowestoft, Suffolk. Kicking off with sets from Singh

A Man Called Adam, one


of the main UK acts to fuse jazz and Latin with dance music, are responsible for spearheading Balearic House, Chill Out and UK House/ Nu disco. Their recently- released


(Other Records 2019) has been described as “brilliant” by Gilles Peterson and “the sound of summer 2019” by Danny Rampling.

THE villagers of St Peter South Elmham are holding their 8th annual boules tournament on Sunday 21st July to raise funds for their village church. The tournament will take place at Ilketshall St Andrew Village Hall which is situated midway between Bungay and Beccles in a lovely rural location. A PLAN to repair, restore and enhance The Cut, Halesworth. The Cut has now been a home for the arts in Halesworth for almost 20 years. Two decades of providing the local community with a centre for live performance, music, film, dance, classes, or simply a place to have a chat and a coffee. With all those comings and goings it's no wonder the building is showing its age. In 2019 we are aiming to raise £100,000 to pay for repairs and improvements so we can continue to provide Halesworth with the best possible venue for 2020 and beyond. You are invited to the '2020
