ODU Women's Golf to Close Regular Season at the Brickyard Collegiate MACON, Ga. – Te Old


Dominion women’s golf team is


set to compete in the Brickyard Collegiate hosted by Mercer, which is their final regular season tournament before they head to the C-USA Tournament. Live scoring every three holes will be available on Golfstat. ODU is coming off a 3rd place

finish at the LSU Tiger Classic, where they finished ahead of No. 19 TCU and defending C-USA Champion, UTSA. Individually,


ODU had four players place in the top-20, including Abigail Portyrata and Jana Melichova both finished in the top-10. As a team, the Monarchs rank


14th in the nation for average score, 11th in par 3 scoring and 6th in par 4 scoring. Te Monarchs will be paired


with Chattanooga, UCF and ETSU in the opening two rounds of the tournament with a shotgun at 8:30 a.m. on Monday.


ODU Men's Golf Places 20th at Wyoming Cowboy Classic CHANDLER, Ariz.

Dominion men's golf team finished 20th at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic this week at Whirlwind Golf Club in Chandler, Arizona.


ODU (+45) turned in a final round of 302 on Tuesday. No. 39 UCLA (-23) won the event.


Carter Morgan put the finishing touches


on a fine tournament,


carding a 1-under 71 in the final round to finish in a tie for 43rd. It marked the second time this spring


that Morgan was the top-placing Monarch.


Rounding out the Old Dominion lineup were Gustav Fransson (+10; t-90th), Calvin Greschner (+14; t-103rd), Doug Rios Ceballos (+21; t-114th) and Michael Minnehan (+29; 119th). Minnehan was making his first appearance in the ODU starting five.


Up next, the Monarchs head to Raleigh for the Stitch Intercollegiate April 12-13
