The Lancaster County Convention Center and adjoining Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square in Lancaster City seamlessly incorporate the 110-year-old Beaux Arts façade of the landmark former Watt & Shand department store while offering a combined 90,000-square feet of meeting space. Slated to open in the first half of this year is the new expansion of the East Tower of the Lancaster Marriott, which will feature 110 new rooms (bringing the hotel’s total to 416) along with a 3,500-square foot rooftop bar.


Discover a new downtown Lancaster destination, The Holiday Inn Lancaster (formerly The Hotel Lancaster). The completely renovat- ed and rebranded property boasts 216 modern guestrooms, The Imperial restaurant, which serves creative homegrown cuisine, and newly refurbished ballrooms: Imperial Grande, which can accom- modate 250 people, and the Imperial Blue, holding up to 150.


The Eden Resort and Suites, just outside of Lancaster City, contin- ues with its refurbishment, having made $3 million in improve- ments over the winter to 56 of its guest rooms, technology infra- structure, and to its Eden Market offerings. The resort features 25,000-square feet of function space and 300 total guest rooms.


The amazing Star Barn Village is now open on Stone Gables Estate in Elizabethtown, and can accommodate up to 600 people.

Just opened in Stevens is Refreshing Mountain Retreat’s new 35- plus foot tall Climbing Tower with seven climbing routes and two racing routes, as well as new banquet seating for up to 350 peo- ple.


Featuring architectural and décor items repurposed from concert tours, the 139-room Hotel Rock Lititz is now open and is a one-of- a-kind lodging adventure that offers the backstage vibe of the Rock Lititz community's art and technology and the small-town charm of Lititz. The hotel boasts 3,000-square feet of flexible space for meetings and events with full-service on-site catering available.


One of Lancaster’s most innovative (and until recently, nomadic) local theater companies, Prima, has opened a new and permanent Lancaster City home.


Newly opened in March, Decades is a six-lane boutique bowling alley and arcade with a full-service restaurant and bar. Located in the historic Stahr Armory in Lancaster City, the venue soon will be available for private events, evoking nostalgia with class in a 90- year-old, 15,000-square foot gymnasium filled with amusement and cocktails.
