2 Damon Hill He began winning international championships in the Young Horse classes and continued that trend straight through to the World Cup Finals. Because he is a gelding, we will not know his potential to pass on the superior traits he inherited from his sire, Donnerhall. The points of comparison between Damon Hill and
Donnerhall are remarkably similar. In fact, he is built more like his sire than De Niro is.
3 Don Schufro Once again we see a son that compares favorably with the sire in almost all the points of comparison. Where he differs is at the bottom of the pillar of support, much like De Niro. And also like De Niro, he was a superior international competitor and is a leading sire of dressage horses.
4 Chestnut gelding This horse is a grandson of Donnerhall, but through neither De Niro nor Don Schufro. He is pictured as an eight-year-old after a change in ownership that led to him being classically retrained for dressage. He is not quite perfect in the LS, but certainly well within
athletic limits. He shows the dressage rear triangle plus the lower stifle protrusion of the Donnerhall line. His forehand is in keeping with the Donnerhall influence for lightness, but his pillar of support emerges just into the heel, like De Niro and Don Schufro.
