me to finish my first 50k ultramarathon in seven hours-32 minutes, a good 28 minutes to spare before my eight-hour target. Just like in any race, many could help you train. Friends and family could help you prepare. They could even cheer you on. But on D-Day, it takes your own two feet, your own legs, your own mind to cross yourself on the finish line.
Before the race started, I was so sure that this was going to be my first and last ultramarathon. But having had that experience on March 9, running overnight until March 10, I am just so excited to list my name up for the next AWUM.
