Happy New Year. - Now that we are starting to consider renovations for 2019, lets take a look at the colours and trends we are seeing for the coming year. In 2018 we saw a strong trend leaning towards greys in various tones. Now in 2019 we are still leaning towards similar colours, but with the addition of white which features as a major player in many open plan designs. We start off with Rational Onda mimicking the motion of a wave.

With its finely curved fronts onda ranks as a true classic amongst Rational’s wide range of kitchen designs. With the option of having accent colours in Ral or Ncs shades of colours to suit one’s personal taste.


In the images shown here white and copper harmonize superbly to create a homely ambience.


One of the beauties of this range is it can be used to create entire kitchen design or in sections of the design for example an island area blending in beautifully with a flat (slab) door elsewhere, replicating the characteristics of a real wood effect finish available in many different types of wood ie Anthracite mountain larch which is featured in our main showroom display.


This further enchases the appearance of the kitchen for example in the planning of a bank of tall appliances and storage housings units, by giving the option of one continuous door front which Rational are able to produce in a height of up to 2080mm as standard, without multiple doors to achieve the effect.
