All change for the New Year...our January issue is always focused on new beginnings, be that our 'New Year, New You' feature or swapping up the home. Change sweeps through every area of our lives and more often than not, it’s most welcome and most needed. In this issue we bring you news of products that start the changes from the inside, as well as treatments to drive weight loss and turn back the clock, whilst on the home front there's inspiration for every room and corner of your

The New Year is also a time for resolutions – for some that's spending more time with friends, for others that's spending more time with family! Going to the gym, securing that new job, me time and sticking to the diet are all high on the agenda. Personally, I don't believe in resolutions, I believe in setting goals – there's less negative pressure and more determination behind goals; a subtle change in mind set, but try it for yourself.

Our first interview of the New Year is with the iconic Nicole Farhi, fashion designer turned sculptor. We chatted about her incredible career as one of the world's most revered designers and she reveals how sculpting was always in the background throughout that period of her life, but how she loved it too much to run it alongside her fashion career. So, did sculpting pull her away from fashion? Read the interview to find out. She was a joy to chat to, I still have some of her pieces in my wardrobe, which she was delighted to hear, I'm still pleased I can get in some of them…just!
On the foodie front, the countdown has begun to the launch of Tattu this month and I for one can't wait for this coveted restaurant to open its doors in Birmingham. It will change the dining scene for the better.
On the travel front, there're some trends for 2019 you might want to tap into, such as adventure, whilst some of the predicted top destinations include Petra and Fiji – we can thank Meghan and Harry for the latter!
I hope that 2019 started in a positive vein for you and I hope it continues that way...
