NOVEMBER 1 - 4. DANCE TCU FALL DANCE CONCERT An eclectic mix repertoire created by TCU faculty and guest artists. Fall 2018 guest artists include creating new work for SCCD dancers are: Francisco Aviña (Hubbard St, Lucky Plush); Christian von Howard (Von Howard Project, Ailey School faculty); Summer Lee Rhatigan (London Festival Ballet, LINES); Abby Zbikowski (The New Utility; Bessie Award). Joining these guest works are SCCD faculty member, Jessica Zeller, staging excerpts from Act II, Don Quixote ballet, and Elizabeth Gillaspy creating a new work. | November 1-2 and November 4, various times | Ed Landreth Auditorium, TCU Campus, Ft Worth, TX.

NOVEMBER 9 - 10. DANCE FUSION CONCERT PRESENTED BY COLLIN COLLEGE COLLIN DANCE ENSEMBLE Hosted by Collin Dance Ensemble, Dance Fusion is an annual dance concert featuring the integration of guest companies with the student performance groups. Dance Fusion will feature the Collin Dance Ensemble with guest performances by Lamar University, Sam Houston State University and Stephen F. DIRECTOR’S CHOICE PRESENTED BY DALLAS BLACK DANCE THEATRE Tommie-Waheed Evans moves you as emotionally charged Bodies as Site of Faith and Protest draws on fierce physical language through dance set to iconic speech excerpts by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Witness the strength and stamina of DBDT dancers as they push through the layers of Lily Cabatu Weiss’ Thrown for a Loop. Weiss navigates the unknown as the dancers explore the complexities of life’s unexpected challenges.
