With the recent news on The Brickmakers how could we have the editor’s note on anything other than The Brickies, so we asked them to give as an update in their words, so over to you Charley, Pam and Em.
“It's been a very emotional week for us here at The Brickmakers, since announcing that we were going to have to say goodbye to our beloved pub we have been riding a rollercoaster of emotion and wonderment . We knew that this place was important to the people of Norwich and it's music scene but all three just weren't prepared for the amount of love and support we have received from you all. There aren't any words big enough to say how much we appreciate everyone standing with us in our fight to stay open and keep supporting Norwich's live music scene. As it stands, currently we are doing everything we can to fight. We are in contact with Ei Group and also Norwich City Council and as soon as we have any news you will all be the first to know. For now, please keep going out and supporting your local pubs, venues and bands. They all need you! You have all shown what standing together can do so let's keep the Norwich music scene alive and kicking together" Charley, Pam & Em x
