October means warm coats, dinner by the fire and one hell of a great Halloween party. Each year I attend a party that beats all other spooky gatherings. The organiser, a friend, hires in actors, some dressed as zombies, other chainsaw wielding freaks , as well as a giant 13 foot mechanical spider to create a night no-one ever forgets. The zombies and other scary characters chase you through a derelict building and out into the trees then back into a container that you're locked in – and more importantly they're trying to get into – which is all washed down with ghoulish themed cocktails and a dinner and disco afterwards. It's pretty awesome – and scary, and despite the fact I know they're actors, I still scare myself silly getting caught up in the moment.

This issue should delight rather than scare…hopefully. I caught up with the lovely Caprice, who I've had the pleasure of meeting and partying with on many occasions and when I say she's incredibly down to earth, I truly mean it. She talks about her burgeoning business and acting career, with her latest project launching on Netflix; read the interview on page 8.
