LIVE24 IN THE COTSWOLDS AND WYE VALLEY // SEPTEMBER 2018
September is a special month for the Live 24-Seven team, we celebrate the 11th birthday of our first title that covers Warwickshire, Birmingham and Worcestershire. Eleven years of being the most popular lifestyle magazine in the Midlands – the only magazine that all the premium brands work with! I look forward to more birthdays for this our Cotswold & Wye Valley magazine.
LI VE 2 4 - SEVEN – THE MIDL ANDS PREMIER LUXURY LIFESTYLE MAGAZINE
September also means new season influences that touch every aspect of our lives from fashion and dining to interiors. This season’s trends will have you reaching to the back of your own closet or your parents, as eighties’ fashion, animal prints, monochrome and coveted trench coats are all on point. The stand-out piece for me this season is the Victoria Beckham animal print chenille coat – it’s an investment piece, not cheap, but if you think that everything comes back around in terms of fashion, then it’s worth the indulgence…right?

Someone who sets the standard on trends rather than copying them is Kelly Hoppen MBE, who I had the pleasure of interviewing for this issue. The ‘Kelly Hoppen look’ is imitated the world over, but how did this megawatt career start and how has she managed to blend seamlessly designing the interiors of yachts with selling affordable products on QVC? Turn to page12 to find out.
It’s also Organic September! I said organic, not orgasmic, although you can make September what you will! Embrace the month-long campaign that celebrates all things organic and tap into some of the promotions that the producers are running throughout the month. The promotion aims to raise awareness of organic products and also the companies and farmers behind them – it’s surprising how many are from across this area.
Foodies will want to schedule the Ludlow Food Festival into their diary; the oldest food festival in the UK and set within castle grounds, it has added to the line-up this year with more speakers, live demonstrations and a host of delicious foodie offerings for you to sample and buy!
I hope you enjoy reading this issue; it has been a pleasure creating it for you.
