LIVE 24-SEVEN - MUSIC

MUS IC & F I LM WITH ED & GEMMA

Heart Breakfast

Another month, another superstar heads to the West Midlands!

Britney Spears absolutely killed it last month and now Kylie Minogue is gracing us with her Aussie presence for one night only.

Let’s be honest, Kylie is one of the biggest living legends and a master at reinvention so we are certain we’re in for a treat at the Genting Arena.

Flying onto our screens in ‘Neighbours’ back in the 80’s (who else had a Charlene-esque perm?!) it wasn’t long before she ended up on the radio, blaring out the speakers as we pranced around in ra-ra skirts. Some of her most iconic moments? Well, there were those gold hotpants in ‘Spinning Around’ and then that white jumpsuit when we couldn’t get ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’ well, out of our heads!

Now, in the year she’s turning 50, she’s taking to the stage again to show us just why she’s one of the greatest women in pop… ever!

Kylie’s definitely known for her tour outfits in particular. The ‘Showgirl Homecoming’ tour in 2006 was packed with sequins and glitter and feathers galore – a real spectacle! She’s a show-woman, who thrives on putting on the biggest performance she can.

This tour will be her 18th in her glittering career! 18! It’s all for her new album ‘Golden’ but no doubt there’ll be some of those classic hits in there too. After all, she’s got quite the back catalogue!
