Day 10 Danang - Hue. Journey fi rst to Danang to visit the Cham Museum, then drive over the dramatic Pass of Ocean Clouds. The road drops down to the coast and the photogenic fi shing village of Lang Co. We visit the Mausoleum of Tu Duc, used as a palace retreat before becoming the Emperors’ resting place. We also visit Tu Hieu Pagoda and Khai Dinh’s Tomb, before heading into Hue.
Day 11 Hue. We start our tour of Hue at the Imperial Citadel. We then take a boat trip on the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda. Enjoy a stroll through the Dong Ba market, before lunch at a local restaurant. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 12 Hanoi. Early this morning we fl y to Hanoi. We visit Hoa Lo, a huge prison for anti-colonial revolutionaries, and the Temple of Literature. Later, we drive to Hoan Kiem Lake and take a walking tour of Hanoi’s Old Quarter.
Day 13 Halong Bay. Travel to Halong Bay. Our overnight cruise begins with lunch on board our
IMPERIAL CITADEL, HUE
modern, yet traditional vessel. In the afternoon, enjoy activities or just relax as we sail amongst the forest-topped pillars. Towards the end of the day the boat sets anchor for the night among these towering karst formations.
Day 14 Halong Bay - Hanoi. Wake early for an unforgettable sunrise, and enjoy breakfast as we cruise slowly back towards port. Arriving back in Hanoi, the rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 15 Hanoi. Our sightseeing excursion includes Ho Chi Minh’s marble mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda and the Taoist temple of Quan Thanh. If time permits, we also visit the ancient Hanoi Citadel. Spend the afternoon at leisure, before we fi nish our day with a Water Puppet Show.
Day 16 Hanoi - In fl ight. The majority of the day is free before our late evening transfer to the airport for your overnight return fl ight to the UK.
Day 17 UK. Upon arrival, your Titan vehicle will be waiting for the journey home.
