Day 1 UK - In fl ight. Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your fl ight to Johannesburg.

Day 2 Johannesburg - Entabeni. After arriving into Johannesburg this morning, we begin our journey north, heading fi rst to the Entabeni Safari Conservancy. Located in the Waterberg biosphere, Entabeni means ‘place of the mountain’, but the area is home to many different habitats. Our lodge has views over Entabeni Lake, where you may see hippos wallowing. In the afternoon we enjoy a game drive in search of local wildlife.

Day 3 Entabeni. Waking on our fi rst morning to magnifi cent mountain scenery, we head off on an early game drive to the upper escarpment. You may see any of the ‘Big Five’ (lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards and rhinos), as well as hyenas, birds and at least 15 species of antelope. After lunch we enjoy another game drive.

Day 4 Entabeni. Another thrilling day of wildlife awaits, with two included drives to further explore the reserve. Our fi rst is before breakfast in the lower escarpment, an area that’s home to warmer sandy wetlands. After breakfast we visit the Endangered Species Centre to learn about the rare white lion, before joining a walk around a reconstructed Pedi cultural village. We enjoy lunch at a traditional bush boma, followed by a second game drive.

Day 5 Entabeni - Limpopo. Today we continue our adventure to Limpopo in South Africa’s far north, travelling through the region’s diverse landscape. We stop en route for a picnic lunch, arriving this afternoon at our lodge for the next three nights, a tranquil retreat in Mapesu Nature Reserve, where we enjoy a bush walk around the local area.

Day 6 Limpopo. We begin early for a guided visit to Mapungubwe UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, in the 9th century Iron Age, the fi rst-known Bantu settlement was established in South Africa. The site’s most famous artefact, the ‘Golden Rhino’, highlights the importance of the settlement within the vast Indian Ocean trade network. After lunch we head to Mapungubwe National Park for another exhilarating game drive.

People often talk of the emotional power of seeing creatures like lions and elephants in their natural habitats. And there are few better places to experience it than South Africa. Travelling to four different reserves, we give you the chance to see the Big Five, plus antelopes, hippos, hyena and countless bird species. In between, we’ll cross dramatic mountain landscapes and learn of the area’s ancient civilisations. Each night we’ll stay in wonderfully welcoming lodges, sharing memories of the day’s encounters.
