Security gates provides ring of steel
Featured in the Dutch Press were Cova’s CSG 10850 crash rated bollards being filmed & photographed during installation at Rotterdam Central Rail Station in which they provide a ‘ring of steel‘. Cova’s PAS 68 crash rated shallow depth bollards were selected
because of their ‘anti-terror’ crash rated protection. Static bollards provide an ideal solution to prevent a vehicle attack, whilst protecting pedestrians and property with minimal impact on the environment. In other areas of the city alternative anti-terror measures have been taken following the attacks in Barcelona and Nice with trucks.

IOTA has developed a technique of zinc patination which creates a desirable weathered and aged look which will mature over time. Zinc sheets are clad onto steel planters to give extra strength and rigidity. This was the material selected by the V&A museum for its appearance, durability and maintenance-free finish, and 22
metre-cube planters are now in place in the Madejski garden in the heart of the museum. The image here shows a zinc planter at an early stage of natural ageing at which it resembles old lead, with natural and characteristic zinc oxide highlights starting to come through.

Resiblock at the races It was Happy 25th
Birthday to Resiblock, and how
they celebrated at Ascot Races. The day’s events included a seven-race card and four course menu in the On5 Restaurant, hosted by Jockey David Crosse. Staff were dressed in their finest, with Warehouse Lad Ben amazing everyone with a grey/blue herring-
bone suit. The ladies of the office looked suitably stunning in an array of beautiful outfits. Managing Director Paul Lamparter said: “It has been a fantastic 25 years for us, and the staff deserved to be treated for their efforts.
