The Kent & East Sussex Railway, is inviting visitors and local residents to bring their family along to enjoy a weekend of Hopping Fun at Bodiam Station in East Sussex on Sat. 8th and Sun. 9th September. The railway’s heritage steam trains will run each day between Tenterden and Bodiam stations with trains every 45 minutes. Visitors can take a walk through the Hop Gardens and try their hand at picking hops. Children can also enjoy face painting, swing boat rides and games amoungst other activities. Live musicians and local dancing groups will be performing through the weekend. There will be a selection of heritage vehicles on display. This unique event has a variety of vintage and modern aircraft displays, on the ground and in the air. A family event which includes static military vehicles, living history re-enactment groups, arena events, military stalls, children’s entertainment and food stalls.


SOUTHERN MODEL SHOW 8 & 9 September 2018


Featuring a stunning array of model aircraft, helicopters, ships, tank and other vehicles and a show ground packed with traders, offering everything you could possibly need for models. A must go to event for anyone with an interest in this fascinating hobby.
