Ideal Commercial, the market leader in commercial boilers, has appointed Ricky Lewis as business development manager for the North West Home Counties region. Ricky has extensive experience of the industry, gained from rising through the ranks


at BDR Thermea over 16 years, starting in the Remeha administration team and moving through various departments before becoming an area sales manager, first with Andrews Water Heaters and then Remeha. Commenting on his appointment, Ricky said: “I’m really excited to be working for Ideal Commercial. They have a very respected name with a great range of products. I’m looking forward to establishing relationships with existing Ideal Commercial customers in my region and introducing the company to my previous contacts.”

companies on their strategy and wider business issues, particularly in the construction industry. He also has considerable international experience, principally in the Middle East and Asia Pacific. Pollard is currently Group CEO at Cory Riverside Energy, who generate renewable baseload electricity from London’s residual waste. Previous experience has seen him as a senior private-sector leader at Railtrack plc, Network Rail, Skanska, Bovis Lend Lease, Navigant and Balfour Beatty plc. He is a member of the CBI Infrastructure Board, advisor to the Water Industry Commission for Scotland and a Board member of the Environmental Services Association.


CBRE names new UK client solutions director


Global real estate advisor, CBRE, has appointed Charlotte Gannon as a Director in its UK Client Solutions team. Gannon joins the company from Cushman & Wakefield’s Global Occupier Services team,


where she advised clients on maximising the efficiency of their Global Real Estate Portfolios. She has particular expertise in the technology sector, having worked extensively with corporates such as Oracle, Activision and Gartner. As part of her role she also completed secondments at EY, AbbVie and The Crown Estate. In her new role Gannon will be looking to strengthen relationships with corporate
