Ufford Park Appoints
New Conferencing and Events Manager
UFFORD Park has appointed Evangeline Wells as Conferenc- ing and Events Manager to man- age and promote its Weddings, Conference and Team Building facilities and Events, as part of the hotel’s investment to achieve 3-star VisitEngland Gold status. Evangeline joins Ufford Park
with a degree in Hotel Manage- ment and a wealth of experience in various hospitality roles, including wedding manage- ment, reservations and house- keeping. She has a BA Honours degree in Hotel Management and was one of the first gradu- ates of the Edge Hotel School at the University of Essex, after
completing her student training at Wivenhoe House Hotel. Since graduating in 2014 she has worked in a number of senior roles in hospitality and customer service, working for venues like Wivenhoe House, Gosfield Hall Wedding Venue, Greyfriars Col- chester and Greenwoods Hotel and Spa in Billericay, making her the perfect candidate to take over the Conferencing and Events role at Ufford Park. She comments: “I am excited
to be joining Ufford Park at such an important time in the hotel’s development. I am currently enjoying working closely with Tarnia, Max and the team to review and refresh our wedding and events packages. In line with Tarnia’s vision and using my experience in the industry, I want to ensure that I help boost Ufford Park’s reputation as a popular destination for wed- dings, events and conferences in Suffolk.”

Suffolk Dog Day launches it’s 2018 Campaign #LetSleepingDogsLie
Whatever life brings we’re always there for you
SUFFOLK Dog Day 2018, our County’s premier canine extravaganza is launching its brand new website and hoping to make a massive paw print on social media this year with the Houndly Hashtag #Let- SleepingDogsLie and it’s all in a good cause to help Suffolk charities. With British summertime now
in full swing plans are well underway for the friendliest and fluffiest of all Suffolk family events, Suffolk Dog Day 2018, at Helmingham Hall, on July 29th Suffolk Dog Day puts your
four-legged friend firmly at the centre of the celebrations, but it’s also a day where over 150 volunteers come together and raise every penny for Suffolk charities and community groups, almost £500,000 in total over the past eleven years. Hot on the hairy heels of last
year’s Dog of The Decade, which saw over 5,000 people vote for their favourite top then Suffolk breeds, this year’s cam- paign is called #LetSleeping- DogsLie The point is a simple one, Suf-
folk Dog Day absolutely doesn’t let sleeping dogs lie when it comes to helping vulnerable people in Suffolk, but it’s aware- ness campaign this year is all about taking to social media and sharing your cutest pictures of your snoring schnauzer, your dosing dachshund, your resting Ridgeback – You get the picture, then post it up with the #LetaSleepingDogsLie Head of Public Affairs at Suf-
folk Community Foundation Tim Holder says ‘Every dog owner has a cute pic of their four-legged friend asleep and #LetSleepingDogsLie will get people sharing their furry favou- rites on their phones, tablets and computers. It costs nothing to

post a pic up on Facebook. Insta- gram or Twitter but it will also raise awareness of the needs of vulnerable people here in Suf- folk and help us celebrate a few heroes in the mix for all the great work they do. We hope #Let- SleepingDogsLie will get both tails and tongues wagging and there are some great prizes to be won too.’ So enjoy a little dig through
your photo libraries and share the cutest pictures on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram and make sure you include #Let- SleepingDogsLie To see all the latest pics and to
