The good thing is, the Mid Kent Shopping Centre is just down the road, off Castle Road in Alling- ton – and because the outlet is partially covered, it’s a great place to shop, even when it’s raining.


It also offers the chance to strike a number of things from your To Do list at once, being home to not only a chemist, newsagent, Post Office and Waitrose supermarket, but an optician, barber’s and an estate agent. In fact, Eye 2 Eye, a specialist, independent prescrib- ing optometrist, has just been fully refurbished.
