Welcome to the April issue, the month in which I become a year older, subtly wiser and lose even more of my inhibitions! I intend to see my birthday pass in raucous style that certainly doesn’t become someone in the 40+ category! I also can’t wait to tuck into the Easter eggs I know are coming my way after a very long few weeks of abstaining from chocolate for lent! Giving up my evening treat wasn’t the breeze I thought it would be. From choccie-based desserts at events to chocolate-inspired cocktails at launch parties that I had to refuse; it’s been a tough few weeks! I kid you not…
For this issue I chatted to the lovely Calum Scott and we got on so well he’s invited me to be his guest at his concert this month; he’s just adorable, which I think really comes across in our interview. Today’s women and men just want to look like better versions of themselves; we want someone to say, “You’re looking really great; what are you doing?” not think “Cripes, her face doesn’t move when she talks, don’t stand her too close to the heater”! I recently hosted a beauty event and all of the women who attended agreed that ways to treat your skin and enhance your health from within are the way forward; over processed needs to be left for the supermarket shelf!
