This photograph is believed to have been taken in Liverpool in 1892, possibly on the occasion of the first practice match of the newly formed team at Anfield on 15th August. The images is believed to have been taken in the vicinity of original Main Stand. Although not obviously evident in this b&w image the Liverpool team are wearing their inaugural season colours of blue and white ‘halved’ shirts. Everton FC had previously worn blue & white halved and also quartered shirts at different times in the 1880s. £50 - 80*
