// Christmas In The Cotswolds

Christmas in the Cotswolds THE COTSWOLDS IS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACES IN BRITAIN TO CELEBRATE THE FESTIVE SEASON

The entire region will be offering entertainment and activities the whole family can enjoy.

Rejoice in the countdown to Christmas as the powerful collective voice of Dursley Male Voice Choir, one of the finest choirs in Gloucestershire, return to the Great Hall, Berkeley for another beautiful festive performance on 17th December.

Celebrate with your children with a visit to the Corinium Museum in Cirencester to meet Santa, who will be reading some special stories written at his home in the North Pole and he will give each child a present to take home on Wednesday 20th December.

Cheltenham Town Hall will host the Cheltenham Bach Choir as they present Handel’s perennial favourite the ‘Messiah’, in what promises to be the musical highlight of Cheltenham’s Christmas season on 23rd December.

If you've had a hectic build up to the big day, why not burn off your Christmas dinner with a magical, winter walk through the

Batsford Arboretum on Boxing Day with family or friends, with a free glass of warming mulled wine or visit Bibury, which has an annual duck race on 26th December, which starts at 11am where hundreds of yellow ducks stream down the River Coln and all the Cotswold hunts will be hosting traditional Boxing Day meets.

For those needing a post-Christmas limber, Cotswold Voluntary Wardens is organising a 2-hour walk on 29th December starting at The Royal Oak in Andoversford at 10am. The route takes in moderate hills over nearly 4 miles and will take you around Foxcote, Fulford and Owdeswell Manor before returning to the pub for a drink and some well earned lunch.

These events will certainly get you in the mood for some champagne popping fun to bring in the New Year!
