FOLLOW THE YELLOW BRICK ROAD TO SEE THE WIZARD OF OZ AT ROYAL &

DERNGATE The yellow brick road leads to the Derngate stage this autumn for a magical production of the colourful classic Wizard of Oz from Northampton Musical Theatre Company, featuring all the wonderful characters from the 1939 Judy Garland movie. In their search for the Wizard, Dorothy and her dog Toto are joined by the Scarecrow, Tin Man and Cowardly Lion, encountering Munchkins, flying monkeys, and witches along the way. The magical score features favourite songs, including Over the Rainbow, Munchkinland (Ding Dong! The Witch is Dead) and We’re Off to See the Wizard!

Offering an ideal outing for half term week, there’s a special Wednesday matinee performance where audiences are invited to come dressed up in their favourite Ozian outfit. The Wizard of Oz runs from Tuesday 24th to Saturday 28th October, with performances every evening at 7.30pm and matinees on Wednesday and Saturday at 2.30pm.
