Flame Retardant Sheeting

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR SCAFFOLD SHEETING

> Do not attempt to install sheeting during windy conditions.

> Can be installed horizontally or vertically, butt-jointed or overlapped with each lift.

> Ties every third hole is usually sufficient. Exposed sites may require more fixing posts.

> When joining 2 rolls together, both reinforced bands should be completely overlapped to allow toggles to go through both upper and lower eyelets.

> The toggle end of the tie is pushed through the eyelets provided in the reinforced strip. The other end is then passed around the scaffolding tube and clipped back onto itself.

> After installation, regular inspections should be made to ensure that the sheeting is securely tied, particularly after windy conditions – broken ties or torn sheeting should be replaced. Damage and tearing will inevitably result if the sheeting is allowed to flap unnecessarily.
