Tildenet Newt Barrier

Image supplied by JHD Ecological

Tildenet Newt barrier film is designed for the construction of physical barriers to protect and contain naturally occurring populations of endangered amphibian species. Barriers against these species are very important during and sometimes after civil engineering projects such as pipeline construction and road building.

The barrier is used to protect and contain newts primarily, but a wide range of protected amphibian species can also be contained with the newt barrier system.

Drop trap plastic buckets and wooden stakes to create the fence are also available.

All prices ex-works excluding VAT E&OE. T: 0117 966 9684 | F: 0117 923 1251 | E: info@tildenet.co.uk | W: www.tildenet.co.uk 29

Tildenet also offers a stabilised heavy duty version of the film in a woven polypropylene fabric. It works in the same way as the film, creating the barrier to protect these endangered species and guaranteed to last a minimum of 5 years.
