Growing with the Chamber


Getting the right support for your business can be a difficult task and it is often one many businesses, especially SME’s, can struggle with. Currently Devon Chamber of Commerce is working to assist by


finding more ways and expanding channels to help support you. The Chamber will highlight in the Member Directory to be created in its new website all of those companies and advisors which Members can use with confidence. In addition the Chamber is looking to better showcase the many schemes and support services provided by the public sector. Recently, the Heart of the South West


Local Enterprise Partnership issued a new call for bidders to put forward proposal of finance projects from the European Regional Development Fund. One of the ‘calls’ for projects is to support SME’s. Up to this point, the Chamber has not been specifically involved in directly funded support for businesses; many of the business support and services we have been provided through Chamber
