But captain Nick Morris came in to partner Musielak, and Morris got the better of sole Lions rider Danny
King on the second lap before Musielak stunned the home side by coming through with half a lap to go – and King’s efforts to respond ended as he clipped the fence on the final turn.
Musielak racked up 15+1 for the Robins with Morris on 10+1 and Batchelor 10, whilst Lions reserves Lasse Bjerre (14+2) and Erik Riss (14) both took seven rides to collect bumper hauls. Swindon boss Alun Rossiter said: “In speedway, you make your luck, the luck was on our side and we got away with it. We still got the three points, which is important.
