4-H BC would like to
recognize two new gold partners: Country Life in BC and the BC Dairy Association. Throughout the years,
Country Life in BC has supported local 4-H clubs by publishing their articles and pictures, providing a source for 4-H clubs to showcase their accomplishments and share their stories. Country Life in BC further supported a 4-H member writing for the newspaper, giving voice to members’ perspectives on 4- H activities across the province. 4-H BC would like to commend Country Life in BC for its ongoing support and welcome it as 4-H BC’s most recent gold partner. For many years, the BC
Dairy Association has been a strong supporter of 4-H BC
and this year is no exception. 4-H BC is proud to
announce that the BC Dairy Association is once again supporting 4- H provincial programs and have increased their funding to become a gold partner. The BC

FV 4-H Ambassador receives top award
Each year, a retiring member of the 4-H BC Ambassador team is honoured for outstanding participation. This year, Hallie Bryant of the Fraser Valley region is being recognized with this esteemed award. Hallie will be receiving a 4-H BC Ambassador belt buckle and certificate to recognize her hard work and commitment to the 4-H program.
Hallie was a member of the ambassador team in 2015 and 2016 and her accomplishments went above and beyond what was required. Hallie completed an amazing 71 ambassador activities over her two-year term! Hallie was very active
around the region, particularly in helping out with 4-H events
as an MC or activity leader. Last fall, Hallie was invited
to represent 4-H at the prime minister’s reception for Young Inspired and Inspiring Canadians. She was able to meet the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and had the opportunity to talk about the 4-H program with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Prince William. Throughout her time with the ambassador team, Hallie was extremely hardworking and proved herself to be a huge asset to her club, her community and her country. Congratulations again to
Hallie for her excellent work. She will certainly be missed on the ambassador team but no doubt her commitment to 4-H will continue well into the future.
