Monday After a day of top notch training, you will be ready kick back and enjoy some good food. The Host Chiefs have planned quite an event at the CORSAIR kitchen & bar at the Turnberry Isle Resort. CORSAIR kitchen & bar is an American-inspired kitchen and bar offering contemporary cuisine that attracts those looking for lighter comfort food. Tuesday We’ve got another stellar day of training planned. New this year is the Awards Luncheon where the Lee McGehee Police Officer of the Year Awards, the Public Private Partnership Awards and the Rocky Pomerance Excellence in Policing Awards will be presented.
Wednesday We will begin to wind down this day, but there’s still a lot ahead. This morning the Annual Business Meeting is scheduled and afterwards we will have some additional training. Please wear your uniform today as we will take our 4th annual Association group photo at noon. Then you have the afternoon to relax, golf or just do nothing. Our 65th Annual Installation and Awards Banquet begins at 6pm with the President’s Reception. This will be an unforgettable event as we celebrate the installation of our incoming President, Chief Kevin Lystad of Miami Shores Police Department and bestow some well deserved honors. We will have a photogra- pher on hand for photo opportunities.
