grab some sun and tan that beautiful hide. And, there are tons of amazing events, happening beneath that sun and on the shady side as well! Club Rouge, unveiled by PS Underground and Pete’s Hideaway, a secret and new underground nightclub and showroom. The grand opening was in May, when they presented the “Lost Cherry Cabaret,” a late-night, sultry nightclub show, patterned after the “Kit Kat Club” from the musicalCabaret. Performers change characters and costumes before your eyes, as they transport audiences back to the speakeasies of the 1920s. Doors open at 10:30 p.m. with shows taking placeSaturdays at 11 p.m., featuring chart-topping, pop, jazz and Broadway song selections, done with a theatrical flair. Audience members are encouraged to dress flamboyantly and leave their inhibitions at the door. Tickets include show, gourmet appetizers and sinful desserts. The Greater Palm Springs Pride National March for Unity, takes place at Francis Stevens Park onSunday, June 11. It’s a part of the national rally and march organized in response to the threats against LGBT values, accomplishments and human rights. The aim is to send a message on the Federal, State and Local levels that we are united in our fight against bigotry, discrimination and hate. The march is also meant to create solidarity with all marginalized communities, to ensure our rights are not violated, that progress is not rolled back and discriminatory policies are not planned or implemented. The rally will not only give voice to our concerns, but to support, uplift and bring attention to our brothers and sisters who are most marginalized. We recognize that we are a diverse community whose needs and goals may sometimes differ, but at the same time, we are unified by our common goals of human rights and dignity for all. This is an all-inclusive and peaceful event! For details and more information, go topspride.org. Sister BINGO @ Studio One 11, 67555 E.
