It’s a part of the national rally and march organized in response to the threats against LGBT values, accomplishments and human rights. The aim is to send a message on the Federal, State and Local levels that we are united in our fight against bigotry, discrimination and hate. The march is also meant to create solidarity with all marginalized communities, to ensure our rights are not violated, that progress is not rolled back and discriminatory policies are not planned or implemented. The rally will not only give voice to our concerns, but to support, uplift and bring attention to our brothers and sisters who are most marginalized. We recognize that we are a diverse community whose needs and goals may sometimes differ, but at the same time, we are unified by our common goals of human rights and dignity for all.
