in the Edinburgh Hub New i.d Interiors were recently commissioned by Places for
People to design and install a show home at their new development in the Edinburgh Hub, Urban Eden. The development is themed around the original 19th century colony houses, built to house Edinburgh’s growing population of skilled artisans. The development is designed to provide stylish urban living, being part of the city whilst also being separate from it, providing a mixture of apartments, terraces houses, court yard houses and town houses. Urban Eden was an interesting challenge for our designer, Victoria Kember. The brief was to design a 4 bedroom town house that would appeal to a young, trendy urban family. Victoria created the urban look and feel of the home through the liberal use of different woods and textures.
