get together with a glass of wine, so being in easy reach of the Siemens wine cabinet was a must. The island also serves as a casual seating area for 4, and the dog’s new favourite place to sit. An easy place to prepare food was also an essential for the kitchen (after the Ducati and the dog!) and the island came in to it’s own, providing lots of space for food prep and in easy reach of the full height Siemens integrated fridge and freezer in the bank of tall housings and the beautiful LaCanche range cooker. With 2 sinks in the island and a Quooker Fusion boiling water tap on hand it created the perfect working space. For the colour scheme and choice of materials and textures we wanted to create a timeless, simple elegance. We stuck to one


colour palette to ensure simplicity, using neutrals and blues which created a wonderful calm aesthetic. The LaCanche range cooker is a real focal point in Delft Blue, which complimented the glazed doors of the bespoke glass display unit and the deep blue frame for the tall housings. To maintain the simple aesthetic and clean design we suggested a handleless door from our Futura Collection, in painted gloss Pergamon, with Silestone Quartz worktops in Blanco Stellar to compliment the colour scheme.
