Wisconsin Precision Casting Co- owner Ken Klemowits, recently retired after some 28 years with the company. Klemowits
came to Wiscon- sin Precision
in
1984 and retired as vice president technical services. In that position he handled sales and administrative re- sponsibilities. Cliff Fisch-

manufacturing, noted Klemowits’ drive and effort were instrumental in helping build the company’s success and qual- ity reputation. “Ken brought technology, upgraded equipment and process controls that helped the company grow,” he added. Klemowits’ retirement
leaves the
current active ownership in the hands of Clyde Klemowits,vice president machin- ing and tooling; Claude Klemowits, vice
president engineering; and Cliff Fischer, vice president manufacturing. In his retirement, Klemowits plans
on doing many of the things he loves such as travel, exercise, and photography.
Synchro32 Appoints Software Engineer
Synchro32 recently announced the
appointment of Tom Millar as software engineer. Millar formerly worked for Dewtec Systems as a software engineer/systems analyst. In that position, he led a highly skilled team in the creation, support and maintenance of
a suite of production
control programs written for foundries and plastic injection molders known as Synergy Software System, the precur- sor to Synchro32. The role involved el- ements of design, specification and pro- gramming,
management, training and
installation and support via phone/inter- net or in person. Synchro officials noted Millar’s knowledge of the metal casting industry and programming skills are a rare combi-
nation. The company recruits only from within the metal casting industry.
B&L Announces Promotions
B&L Information Systems recently announced the promotion of Brad Clark to senior software development engineer, and Tara McKibben to software develop- ment engineer. Clark is a graduate of Western Mich-
igan University with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. He has been with B&L since March of 2000 and has been key to the planning and development of Odyssey since its inception. McKibben is a graduate of Michigan

they shortchange those funds. If you have union employees, pay extra attention to how those employees’ hours are tracked. Executives and officers put a great deal of themselves into
their businesses. They should be sure to spend some of their time making sure overtime and payroll are correctly managed. Otherwise, they could end up paying fines and spending time in jail.
