Few Exhibit Spaces Remain Available for Institute’s 59th Conference & Expo in Nashville Oct. 7-10
Only limited exhibit space is avail- able for the Investment Casting Insti- tute’s 59th Technical Conference and Expo, which is scheduled Oct. 7-10, 2012 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Con- vention Center, Nashville, TN. Nashville was the host city for the
Investment Casting Institute’s first equip- ment expo 24 years ago. Although the Institute had conducted conferences for many years, the event in 1988 marked the first time an expo had been attached to the show. It was billed as “the invest- ment casting industry’s first international show and exhibition.”

Institute Executive Director Michael
Perry said he anticipates good attendance in Nashville, which is centrally located and a popular conference and exhibition venue.
“We are planning a technical pro- gram with a balance of presentations from investment casters, universities and suppliers. The casting contest will provide another layer of technology and information to attendees. The contest il- lustrates the benefits of the investment casting process and recognizes casters who stretch the envelope,” Perry said.
